PREPARE/ENRICH PROGRAM:

The Prepare Enrich Program was created to help prepare couples for marriage and strengthen married couples.  The program will cultivate and create a safe environment for couples to talk more openly with each other.  There is an online assessment that identifies individual’s strength and growth areas.  The assessment is appropriate for couples that are dating, engaged or married.  The assessment covers 9 core scales such as: Communication, Conflict resolution, Partner Style & Habits, Financial Management, Leisure Activities, Sexual Expectations, Family & Friends, Relationship Roles and Spiritual. 


This is what you can expect from the program:   

  • Exploration of strength and growth areas

  • Identify and manage major stressors within yourself and relationship  

  • Understand and celebrate personality differences

  • Exploration of Compatibility

  • Create personal, couples, and family goals

  • Discuss finances

  • Explore family of origin issues

  • Resolve conflict using the Ten Step Model
     

PREMARITAL COUNSELING:

Premarital counseling is designed to assist couples that are dating and or engaged to be married to recognize their strengths and areas of growth as it relates to stressors, conflict resolution, finances, communication style, and compatibility.  Research suggests that premarital counseling reduces the risk of divorce by up to 30% according to the Marriage Directory of Marriage and Family Counseling. 

ANGER MANAGEMENT COUNSELING:

Anger Management Counseling will assist individuals and couples- engaged or married- in identifying their emotions both negative and positive and develop accountability and responsibility for their actions.  Anger is a normal emotion; however, if not addressed or appropriately dealt with, it can compromise the stability of a relationship by hindering trust, intimacy, and communication.     

GROUP THERAPY:

Group therapy is an ongoing support system for adolescents, teens, and adults.  The groups include 5 to 10 individuals that meet at least once a week for 6 to 8 weeks to discuss and process various topics and issues.  Some groups focus on specific topics or problems, while others address a number of different concerns.  The groups are created to provide support, and promote healing.
